The Sports Spectacle

This week, we dived into a tackle practice session to gear up for the Sullivan Shield in Week 6. It was fantastic to see so many of our Year 5 and 6 students ready to tackle the challenge (pun absolutely intended)! If you missed out, fear not—there’s another tackle session on Tuesday at lunchtime. We highly recommend all students from Years 3-6 who have signed up for the Sullivan Shield event to attend. We're teaching the art of tackling without turning into pretzel shapes—safety first!

On Monday the 26 May, 40 brave souls from MTS will be representing us at the Regional Cross Country at Stromlo. Rain or shine (and believe me, it’s looking like a monsoon), this event is going ahead! A huge shoutout to our parent volunteer and the wonderful Mrs. Maher for stepping up to help me out. I promise not to make them run!

Then, on Tuesday, our superstar 3/4 Netball teams will be showing off their skills at their Gala Day. They’ll each be playing 6 games—hopefully, the weather will cooperate and not turn into a water park!
