Principal's Message Term 2 Week 5 2025

Dear Parents and Carers,

Parish Vinnies Pantry
Thank you to everyone for your generosity in restocking the Parish Pantry. Families have been so very kind to support others in the community.
National_Reconciliation_Week_2025.jpg
National Reconciliation Week is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to reconciliation in Australia.

The theme for 2025, Bridging Now to Next, reflects the ongoing connection between past, present and future. Bridging Now to Next calls on all Australians to step forward together, to look ahead and push forward as past lessons guide us.

In this year’s artwork created by Kalkadoon woman Bree Buttenshaw, native plants − which are known for regenerating after fire and thriving through adversity − symbolise our collective strength and the possibilities of renewal.

We all have a role to play in reconciliation, and in playing our part we collectively build relationships and communities that value Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, histories, cultures, and futures.

Medication at School

All medication at school must be administered and supervised by our First Aid Admin Officers. Medication should never be left in a child's bag, for fear that another child with gain access and decide to try it. All medication must be handed in at the office in a clearly labelled bag or box, including name, dose, and instructions. Medication forms are available from the office. Let's keep the children safe.

Wooden Pallets for Firewood
We have several old wooden pallets that someone may like for firewood. If so, please call the office on Tuesday to pick up.
Have a lovely three-day weekend,
Carmel Maguire

Principal
