The Sports Spectacle

The MTS girls and boys kicked off the term with some serious hustle at the 5/6 Futsal Cup Gala Day this Wednesday and Thursday! We had a grand total of 6 teams hitting the courts, and let me tell you, they played like they were auditioning for the next big sports movie. Two of our boys teams even made it to the final 16 in the knockout competition—talk about a nail-biter! Sadly, both teams faced a fierce challenge and were knocked out.

A huge shoutout to Carly Reeves for stepping up to assist with the supervision and to the 6 amazing parents who volunteered as coaches. Your support was as essential as a good pair of futsal shoes!

But wait, there’s more! While our futsal stars were dazzling on the court, Charlotte, Stella, and William were off competing in the 2025 ACT & Southern NSW Interschools Snowsport Competition at Perisher. They tackled both alpine and ski cross like pros! Big thanks to Jodie Tancheski for managing the team and keeping everything on the slopes smooth.
