Mother Teresa School caters for students from four years of age, where students are enrolled in our Early Learning Centre, to students in Year Six. The school has four classes in each year level from Kindergarten to Year 6, while the ELC has five classes, some of which are part time.
As a relatively new school, with the oldest buildings being eight years old, all structures are designed with contemporary teaching philosophy in mind. All classrooms have large breakout spaces so that children can work in small groups or individually. Classrooms are able to be opened so that teachers can work with colleagues. The completion of Stage 5 of the school which houses our Year 5 and Year 6 students was finalised late last year and is now up and running. The upgrade to our Early Learning Centre was also completed ready for the start of the 2016 school year. The school grounds are currently being developed to allow the students to have a safer environment in which to play.
The school has a strong IT focus with students in Years Five and Six using iPads to support their learning through a bring your own device program. All other classes have access to a bank of iPads and laptops.
